A few years ago, I discovered I could making money by using my phone. This has been a game changer for me. I am known as the receipt collector and freezer queen.
Whenever my daughter and husband go shopping or out to eat they make sure that I get their receipts by the end of the day. It is a running joke now. Everywhere I go I have to tell people about my awesome discovery. There are more than these 3 apps, but you have to put more effort into those. These are quick and easy, just like I like it!
Since this discovery is so AWESOME, I decided to share it with you. Saving money has become an obsession of mine. Listed are the best saving money apps that I have found.

The Receipt Hog app is my favorite app to use to instantly make money!
This phone app is the easiest one to use. It takes just about any receipt that you obtain as long as it is not over 2 weeks old. EVERYWHERE I go I am taking pictures of my receipts. I have people asking me all of the time, “What are you doing”? This opens up the opportunity to tell them how they can make money. It’s a win-win! Also, when cashiers ask me if I want a receipt, I reply with a big YES!
That is when I pull out all of the codes on a piece of paper that they need to sign up for the app. I have typed them up and I have made copies to pass out. My daughter gets so embarrassed but I want to share the love with everyone. They need money too, right? You can make money by using your phone. Here is video to show you how it works.

Fetch Rewards is the second easiest app to use on your phone. You can use grocery, gas station, grocery clubs and restaurant receipts. It doesn’t take every kind of receipt but it takes a lot of them. I love the bonuses that they give when referring a friend. Your friend will also receive points once they sign up and take a picture of their first receipt. What other side hustle job can do that while sitting a home? I have introduced this to my high school daughter to show her money saving habits. This money saving app is safe and a way for her to earn a small income. This app takes a little more time to do but you can earn money a little quicker than the other 2 apps. My friend earns more money using this app than any other app. You have to do more than take a picture of the receipt to earn points. It is kind of like clipping coupons within the app.
Once I checked to see if any items that I have purchased or will purchase are on my receipt, I scan that receipt to earn the points. I keep this receipt for 2 weeks to see if anything new pops up on the app that I had purchased already. If so, I go back and check that item and scan my receipt again. After you have purchased all of these groceries it can become overwhelming when creating a menu plan.
